furnaces - missing objects? not exploited.

I logged in today to find out my furnaces had made inbetween 29-50 smoothstone per furnace.. however I put a stack in each furnace and I got it confirmed that it was not exploited.

to explain it another way:
1. I logged in
2. I checked multiple furnaces
3. None of them had smelted what I put in completely.

Is this a new mod? or is it a random furnace bug?

Never heard of this before - the memory can be a foggy place

It was just confirmed by buddah - I put a stack in (cobblestone) and recieved 33 smoothstone - this was only one of many.

Issue with bukkit code then - not something we directly mess with or configure
