Bug Frenzy not working?

I recently went to T2 and unlocked frenzy early on. I went to go use it and noticed I get the nausea effect but when I hit a mob I deal the same amount of damage. I also take the same amount of damage. I asked around about it and someone told me it only worked on players so I repeated the experiment. I still delt the same damage and took the same amount of damage.
