This was a problem before but it was fixed, now it's broken again. Since Zombie Pigmen and Wither skeletons naturally are fire resistant, fireballs do no damage to them.

Damn, it must REALLY suck to level as a caster. This means that a boss mob in a dungeon could effectively be less dangerous than green and orange mobs of this type. All the more reason to party up, yes, but the less handicapped casters are the more attractive that class branch would seem to new players.

Would be nice if they could fix this without making the projectile a fireball. On the test server pyro fireball is a snowball, and is terrible to hit. An arrow would be about the same as it is now.

You do realise thats no the only one, wizard jolt cant harm them, its probably due to the fact that for the projectile a fire charge is being used.

This isnt always the case as sometimes a hit does count on a wither skele and pigman.

Dont know if its still the case but the fireball was probably changed from snowball due to hitting vines and grass which was even worse tbh, since jungle biomes would mean it just stops. and that first dungeon has plenty of cobwebs, grass and vines.

It affects jolt, Interesting. I wasn't aware of this, so if it affects stuff like that then it should be fixed. Thanks for the info

Yeah basically any projectile skill using a firecharge (im assuming that is a possible issue) then the case will be the same, so yeah elementalist should suffer if it has access to fireball aswell (i think it does).
