F'ing Trees - keep the server clean

Damn FLOATING trees everywhere. Like groups of them (mostly pines) 5-6 at a time. I haven't PE'd them because I am always needing wood but I would love the staff to add a message in the auto-cycle that equates leaving multiple tree tops floating to minor griefing.

In a similar note, the number of A) half exploded cobble shops and B) abandoned cobble, dirt, wooden plank houses with signs that say things like "Fool372's House Grief = Ban" seems to have risen since I last played.

I fucking hate floating trees. There are so many abandoned structures that need to be demolished/regen'd. In the area near my house there are so many abandoned buildings it's like a nuclear bomb went off and people evacuated.

I hate it when people don't even re-plant. Floating trees are also a maor problem!

The floating tree problem is much more severe than I thought at first. This needs to be addressed (probably at least supplemented by the community, not just staff) unless this is the direction we all want this server to go in.

I don't think there's a specific 'rule' about this, although I agree it's a dick thing to do. The only thing I can say is if you see a forest of floating trees, PE it and a staff member will look into it.

In my eyes, there should either be:

A rule saying that you should never leaving floating trees, and that you should replant the trees you've cut down.

Or, there should be a notice in chat (which appears every so often, such as the ''always speak English'' notice) which states that you should always replant trees, never leaving any floating.

If nothing is done about this issue, then the whole map will eventually look like a wasteland. Plains to the left of us, plains to the right. It'll suck. Badly. Maybe the admins should hire a team of staff to go around with unlimited saplings, dirt and bonemeal to clean up the place! xD

Even though that won't happen, it sounds really nice ging around and bring some of the nature back that used to be on the server.

It would take to long for one person to do it (i've tried). Thats why I think the staff should recruit a few people, give them a limit selection of ''infinite'' items from creative mode, then let them go around planting forests everywhere.

Maybe an interesting addon for someone to make. What we need is decay for logs with no connection via leaves and logs to a dirt block.
Then a fine for the person removing blocks resoulting in the tree to decay. Then a payment for every sappling planted ( payment after it has grown to a tree. I believe that would be a most have, addon for most servers out there.

Since getting guide, I've been trying to explore all over the map to find 1x1's, abandoned structures, and major wasteland griefings to PE to help clean up the server and lower the lag.

Floating tree-tops are the worst because they're EVERYWHERE.. I either try to take them down or, if they're the high-up jungle ones, I PE them for the mods and admins..

If you guys see these and can't get them down (or just don't want to), feel free to PE them (including these structures you're finding) and someone will surely take care of them.
