Favorite Texture Packs

My favorite is Doku the Saga Continues Dark, but I am looking for something a bit less gloomy and more simple. What texture packs do you all prefer?

Customizable Painterly(almost never). You could try http://www.planetminecraft.com/texture_pack/sumps-arcane-pack/ its nice not as gloomy.

I just made a Doku The Saga Continues and I am liking it, other than how there are no good cobble textures that correspond with the vanilla looking smooth stone

I did too, but there is only one smooth stone that looks somewhat like the vanilla (no cracks, but a bit darker) that none of the cobbles go with. I wish I could be a bit less stubborn about having vanilla stone

Ovo's Rustic works really well for me. I tried Doku, but everything looked too... I dunno, sharp edged?

Try mixing in the JohnSmith tex pack's smoothstone. I've been using it for ages and it goes great with the rest of Dokucraft while still looking very much like the vanilla smooth stone.
