Bug Falsebook Cauldron Recipe

I recently set up an entire room for Alchemy stuff and the like. A falsebook cauldron was set up and tested with the 4 torches+4 sand=4 glass. The glass recipe worked fine. I proceeded to try the the 2Clay block+2obsidian+4Redstone dust=Lapis Lazuli block. It didn't work. I tried multiple times last night and it never worked. I am pulling my recipes from here(http://www.herocraftonline.com/wiki/index.php/Cauldron) and attached is a screen shot showing I used proper ingredients. The Obsidian, Clay, and redstone were in the first three slots of my hot bar and were complete stacks before I dropped items into the cauldron.

I know this isn't about the bug, but just letting you know you can use the default cauldron instead of the falsebook one. They both work, just a heads up.
