Bug Engraved Bow Not Giving Special Death Message

It seems that my bow, Windshot, gives only plain white lame death messages, and doesn't even show its name when it kills. Thanks to clwusmc for testing with me.

I am assuming you also received the kill message "Leftovers5 has slain XXXXX with a Bow and Arrows"? Because that is where it should show up.

Not yet, maybe more testing is required. But, it should be able to show up on more messages...

Some of the melee messages don't show engravings as well. I'll be testing this lots once I go smith.
