Just for reference, does anyone know if you can throw ender pearls through iron bars? If yes, is that legal?

The rules state "Use Enderpearls and Blink to travel through small holes"...Not Lwc'd doors or iron bars . :(

This is the important part:
  • If any unwanted effects of a skill is observed, the skill will be removed or recoded. Otherwise, it is legal.

Guess so but what's the point of having a lwc door if it isn't safe? A Lwc'd door should have the same affect as a Lwc'd chest.

We already had a topic closed about this, lets not do the same with this one. Kainzo said the staff would talk about it.

Not the topic.

But when an iron bar has blocks on both sides of it, and is a full "length" block (obviously of a thin width, though), can pearls be thrown through it?

Use of any functions of any Hero skills is allowed.
  • Use Enderpearls and Blink to travel through small holes
  • If any unwanted effects of a skill is observed, the skill will be removed or recoded. Otherwise, it is legal.

I've seen this quoted a few times with regard to the enderpearl issue. It doesn't make sense because an enderpearl is vanilla functionality, not a Heroes skill (the Heroes skill is a passive skill that enables vanilla functionality).

Moreover, I HAVE seen people banned for throwing PlagueBombs through walls. This IS a Heroes skill. It was not recoded or removed, and people were getting banned for it despite the fact that the quote above seems to deem the action "legal".

Aye, However, as you said, Enderpearl use is a Heroes skill, and as such can easily be removed if it was causing undesired effects.

They were subsequently unbanned and thus the current ruling is that if it is a skill effect it is legal and also that this specific instance (i.e. enderpearling through thin objects) is legal.
That being said, I personally think this not something that should be legal.

Also this has been ruled on, and I don't think we need another discussion here

I've seen ender pearls been thrown through glass panes, so there is probably a high possibility they can go through iron bars. If not ender pearls I know chaos orb can.

There are very few circumstances where a skilled enderpearler cannot get through a wall no matter what it is made of. I have witnessed first hand members of a town I hang around with go through roofs, floors, and even 2-3 block thick walls.

That's incredible, but noted. I can hardly comprehend how that can be allowed...

Is there a list of all the blocks you can enderpearl through ?
I'm pretty sure you can enderpearl through anything. Since the enderpearl spawns about a block in front of you (I'm pretty sure it does, anyways), if you stand right next to the block being pearled through, the enderpearl will ignore the wall and you'll be teleported inside.
