Bug Dragoon spade bug?

I am a dragoon and I was lvling when my shovel broke. So I made a new shovel, brand new, no durability used, walked outside and got attacked by a bunch of zombies. Long story short, i died. I respawned and got my gear back, put it on and moved my shovel to the first slot. Ran back to my death point, picked up my stuff and my shovel disappeared. Idk why, but it just disappeared. I didnt drop it, i checked my inventory, it had almost full durability, it should not have broken, but it broke anyway. I had to make another one and it seemed a waste of resources to me. I wish i could have been recording or something for more proof, but I wasnt. Oh wells.

There is some kind of lag glitch where an item will break, leave your inventory but is still in your inventory with a couple uses left.

Your client logged the uses, but the server is behind on uses, so it breaks, but the server still says you have it. It usually comes back when you place something into its slot.
