Does everyone get blocking? Or only people with swords?

So in 1.8, we get blocking by right clicking while holding a sword.

Can our heroic coders make it so that axe of doom and diamond scythes (hoes) and the impaler can block too?

Monks probably shouldnt be able to block, specced crafters definitely should.

If possible, thoughts?

I like the idea, I think it would certainly be more fair and very possible... i haven't even read the 1.8 patch notes yet, so I'm glad someone knows what the heck is going on lol

That would be cool. Though Samurais most useful skill is blocking!

1.8 doesn't have patch notes. Just leaks of information.
