Everything passes eventually, and entropy devours it all in the end, but that everything I do is for nothing implies that doing things for myself and others is meaningless, which in turn implies that I and others are meaningless. I reject this notion. I've traveled all over North America and Europe and moved to 8 different cities in the past 6 years, and finding people to love and keeping in touch with them, and remembering the ones who aren't with me anymore, keeps me anchored. We'll all be gone someday, but I like to think that who we are and the things we did won't really be lost in the end of it all. Information is always conserved; that's the law.
Also, we archive all the maps. So there's that.
