Suggestion Decay on Personal Residences

As I understand it, LWCs decay around 30 days after the owner has last used them. Towns appear to be losing regions when they have no active players listed.

But personal residences are persisting. No rent is required, and there appears to be no automatic mechanism for them to lose region protections if the owner is inactive.

Would it be possible to either:

• Have the same set up as for LWCs, that the region goes down approximately 30 days from when the owner last... logged into that server?

or

• Allow players to petition for personal residences to lose regions where they suspect the structure to be abandoned?

residence should have taxes for managing this however they're currently broken. This is why there is no decay on them at present.

They decay, 30 days after no registered users open them.

residence should have taxes for managing this however they're currently broken. This is why there is no decay on them at present.

This is also sort of a joke, as the rent costs are so minimal anyhow and someone can farm 1000 souls and leave for 6 months without anything to worry about.
Inactivity loses, LWCs, Plots, and Townships. Inactivity should end PRs too IMO.
Personally I have always preferred the 30 day axe myself.

you will see a lot of donation chest around for this reason, if someone opens a donation chest just to see if its locked they reset the counter even though they are not on the access permission, just from opening it.

So what happens next? Residences aren't decaying, so can we claim them via the Petition process for claiming abandoned structures if the owner of the personal residence has been inactive for more than a month, please?.

I've messaged the programmer on the issue but havent seen anything on it.
