Bug Crops not growing

Is anyone else having issues with crops not growing ?

In order for the crops to grow you have to have someone be within a certain distance, believe just in the chunk, of them. It is the same with cows and other animals. If noone is around nothing grows. Almost philosophical if you think about it. If noone is around to see your crops grow, do they really grow? Guess the answer is no.

no my crops aren't growing either and I'm on the same chunk as them just a layer above them

The Braavos crops are harvested multiple times a day. The first group of crops are almost fully grown by the time you harvest the last group.

I think I figured out my issue - I misunderstood the water principle (thought it went verticle too) so they were growing very slow.

When I am farming (I am a farmer) I stand right next to whatever I may be farming (cows, wheat, whatever) and it works fine. I usually farm when I am studying for exams or something. Every now and then going to spawn a cow or harvest or whatever.

There was, for a brief period, yesterday where growth was messed up. We reverted builds and it should be fine.
