Bug Crate Key

Every time I try to use a key crate it tells me to wait (x) amount of seconds (starting from 10) before using it again. No key can be redeemed and the keys do not disappear.

Also key crates are able to be placed and be turned into a tripwire. I've done this once and have lost a key. I would like a replacement key if possible.
