I am having fun with township 3.0 so far - its pretty cool for promoting active townships and class diversity, etc - but there are a few things i am confused about and also have a few suggestions to promote people building towns on pvp.
1) War system. It is my understanding pve towns can have war declared on them. Does this mean pve towns can be destroyed in a war? Can any towns be completely destroyed in a war, or just lose regions temporarily? When regions are lost, do typical anti grief rules still apply (ie, must replace blocks but can raid chests)? Or is there some kind of tnt regen in effect? I saw Blox was destroyed but wasnt sure if that was result of war or not paying taxes or what.
2) What is the incentive to build your town in pvp? It seems you guys are trying to work with a lot of ideas from archeage / other open world pvp games. Those games all have big incentives for conducting activities in pvp areas. Possibly the pvp towns should produce goods / souls at a much greater rate. Also, whenever custom crafted items come in (is that still coming?), perhaps the materials needed to craft them could only be produced by town mines and other structures in pvp continent.
3) is the war / peace contested areas thing in effect yet? are all pve areas other than spawn subject to war / peace periods? Havent really seen anything on this so wasnt sure.
