To put it bluntly, this:
Myself, along with others, feel that the staff restrict players too much when it comes to what we can say. When we make a comment regarding the proformance of a staff member (typically this only concerns Mods, Architects and Admins/Founders); we are unable to do so provided that what we are saying is not entirely positive. It doesn't matter if we are talking about them in a very rude way, or in a passive way; the end result is the same, a mute/kick/ban or a slap on the wrist.
Personally, I dislike that approach. As much as you may feel you are right, I see no reason to silence an opposing view. If anything, if players have a problem with the staff, or how the server is run compared to the past, then we, as a community, should be able to discuss that.
Alternatively, we have now; whereas players are disappointed (and get fruststrated, at times) when they can not express their concerns under the fear that they will be punished, or that their opinion would be disregarded without any comment. ''HC: The Community!'', and I feel that we cherish that.
