So first i'd like to say i'm sorry to the community for using exploitative behavior, I'm not here to discuss that in depth, but i did feel an apology was in order. I was informed by another player whom will remain unnamed that you could blah blah exploitative long standing bug blah blah. This is where things got misconstrued a bit. These trades were incredibly inefficient and were not the prime source of my emeralds. You can also trade paper to villagers for emeralds and use the blah blah exploit blah blah to unlock if it's your last trade, which was what primarily i did. 3-12 emeralds from paper stacks, and one emerald from a blah blah exploit blah blah resulted in infinite emeralds but i stopped doing this as soon as i obtained villagers that held glass as their final trade, resulting in less emeralds from a cycle, but also being 100% construable as anything but legitimate and netting me an unlimited supply of glass at the same time that my town could put to use on building projects. That said there are other ways to do similar such as meats, coal, iron, etc and still i have a nigh unlimited supply so long as i put in the time. I had discussed with numerous long standing players and a few staff members and as i knew it, it was known about for quite sometime and was not an issue.

TLDR: well over 90% of the emeralds i have obtained in game were gathered through legitimate means. I apologize to the community and can promise that going forward any and all things i think might be construed as exploitative will be submitted as a bug report before i take any action in game.

The other thing i would like to address is recent public smearing of both my name and the name of my town. Many of you have pvp'd alongside or against Mith members at some point or another and by and large they are respectful about it. I regularly compliment the people that kill me or i kill on good fights, and have had no issues with the vast majority of the server when i've had dealings with them. Many of such people have joined Mith after repeated dealings or are in an unofficial alliance with mith members and even have regions within our town though we pvp against them as i've found them to be trustworthy and enjoy their company (Including some members of Aldruhn, Wyndham, Roanoke, Axiom, various portions of Aetherius Dominion, and Umbra.)

There are yet other towns that my town members and I have had negative dealings with in the past including Axiom, Genesis, Rapture, Aetherius Dominion, and Aldenshire. In general i have approached their leaders and attempted to squash negativity and keep things civil, even attempting to organize pvp arena bouts and constructing a few such places for our members to do so with Mith providing all the payouts and reagents.

I bring all this up so that you'll all know i'm being honest when I say the following: Mith has killed all of Axioms villagers. I told both Cameronduke and Jreems about it shortly after. We got into their villager room through legitimate means before they resecured it, and after some camping of lower level members of my town, one of which was told he could have his things back only if he joined Axiom, we slew as many as we could and then went on our way. This was an act of retaliation and in no way malicious. I would expect the same to be done to mine if they were left unprotected and I wouldn't feel negative about it but would instead begin planning how to next combat the situation. This game is built on and thrives through PvP and part of that is the aggression towards other towns members as well as their resources. But, with that all said, Mith has killed Axioms villagers and no one elses. I helped genesis construct and transport their original villagers and never made any attempt to kill them after i left, even with negative dealings from many of their members. Frankly i don't care who has what, who is money top, or who has the best stalls in spawn. I play this game primarily for the social aspect and I have cultivated a great many friendships with it. I am regretful that another could not have flourished because of recent occurrences, but accusations that are unfounded have obviously impacted this. I love this community and hope to see it to begin to flourish again soon with the impending patching of macro mods and the re-found interest in PvP that they will hopefully bring back to the game.

TLDR: I killed jreems' fucking villagers and no one elses, nor did anyone from my town kill anyone elses because frankly i didn't deem it worth our time.

Wasn't needed, but alot of people have asked me why i was banned, I wanted to just get it out there and known and i had most of this typed before the previous thread was locked and felt it was a waste to not go ahead and alert it. I served my time and it's all said and done now.

Not sure it's diplomatic, it's not really about my town forming relations, it's about my personal behavior and things that have been said about me recently. I'd really hate to see it moved if it doesn't go there especially as i'd like the community to know that i did something wrong and have atoned/apologized for it.

That exploit has the potential to be a lesser form of duping, not sure why you would explain it in detail.

Personally I see exploiters on the same page as hackers and griefers, not sure why a Proctor would even consider doing something they should know is wrong.

Sorry you feel that way @EtKEnn I also noted in the post that i not only asked long standing members but also staff members and was told it was known and ok. In the future i will bug report and not do anything regardless of what i might be told by other members. This was more or less the discussion i had with the staff that investigated the situation and they made their judgement and we went on our way. I didn't owe anyone any sort of explanation but felt i should do so as I do try very hard to be an upstanding member and have reported other bugs i've found. Further i replaced the portions explaining what was done, and what was done has been changed so it can no longer be done, i didn't think it was going to be a big deal to post something that has been corrected and can no longer be done in game. Also, i have mostly stepped down and am now inactive as a proctor, i only jump in when asked to by the senior or head proctors.

Still, aren't you the leader of a town? Mayors have to go forward as a good example for their citizens, though I am probably not one to talk since I wasn't a great example for my own citizens back in the days.

@JupiterRome - So you do not think mayors should be a good example for their citizens? Tells me a thing or two about you.

I am the mayor and without getting into details of the exploit or my ban i can't really further defend this. I trusted other members when they said it was long standing and fine which i obviously shouldn't have, but also note that i didn't use it the way most people would have as it's slow. Yes i could do it over and over one click at a time, or i could have done paper for one click for three emeralds and do that 1-4 times before the trade locked. Again I'm sorry but no i was not a shining example in this, though i did it under the pretense that i was allowed to and it was a known issue. This really wasn't different than the many people on money top that went to the nether when quartz was too high and made thousands of souls an hour. I didn't make this post to debate with anyone. What i did was wrong, i admitted it, apologized, and am trying to move on. From what i've seen EtKEnn you do nothing be be contrary in any post you are participating in so before this devolves and gets locked i would really appreciate if you would take it to private messages with me instead of constantly telling me the same thing over and over.

It wasn't so much banned as investigation. The issue was quite easy to duplicate and it was a failing on our programming, not so much mechanics.

Because you had an admin stating it was legal, I can understand why you didnt exploit report - however, (goes for everyone) ALWAYS post on exploit forums if you are unsure, a quick admin decision in game will not be enough to protect you if it is something we truly think is game breaking/severe.

Have a good one!

I belive that how a mayor acts does not dictate how the whole town acts..... like Trazil owned willowdusk last map I recruited a certin person that was not nice (his name starts with a k and ends with an oen31) like Trazil was usually pretty nice but this member was usually ermmm not so nice

I am saying that a mayor is a person who should be a good example to his or her citizens because, believe it or not, leaders of towns are important persons in the HC community. I never said that how a mayor acts dictates how the rest of the town acts, you pulled that out of your ass.

Thank you, Iseradore, for this thread.

Hmm. It sounds like I owe you an apology and we have a common enemy. :/
