We can make it so you dont know who you fight, maybe? ;)
Its nice to do a quick /hero whois on the person so you can quickly think of a battle plan.

Maybe instead of their name, it gives your their level and spec?

If you are only talking about their name when it says "You are facing so and so, your match will begin in 6 seconds"that won't fix the issue.

The problem is that if the person with a bounty is skirmishing repeatedly, you know for a fact that they will be in the queue. Typically, when players skirmish, there is only a handful of people participating. If you face them once and you know they have a bounty, all you have to do is /bounty accept and then /skirmish join

If you are talking about changing their name that floats above their head, that may work, but we know a lot of players by their skins, which would mean that you would have to alter their skin too. Quite frankly, neither of those things are something I'd like to see done. It's fun to know you're fighting a rival of yours, or an enemy of your town, or even a fellow townmate. Knowing who you are fighting and planning accordingly is half of the fun.

Is it at all possible to prevent a kill from "counting" towards a bounty while they are inside of a skirmish / arena / bg /dm ?

Today I tried to take the bounty on AzenYumCha but before I could kill him he /kill'd himself so I couldn't kill him and he than joined a skirmish and had his bounty taken away from him without losing his head.

Is there a way possible to just shut off bounties from all arenas because it is very frustrating to see it happen :l

I had a bounty on me and it got claimed inside a Skirmish, really annoying as people would normally have to come to me where I would have an advantage in the choice of the terrain I wanna fight in.

Did you combat tag him prior to the /kill? We did an update that prevents that from happening, so I wondered if there was an issue with it.

I consider the arena to be a "fair" match - while it isn't by design bounties being taken or placed in the arena one cannot say that it isn't a fair match, being that its 2v2 / 3v3 / 5v5 or 1v1.

I'll see about a fix, but don't hold your breath.

You have effectively failed to keep him in combat, thus combat rules do not apply.

Us low level wizards (1-34) have a very hard time keeping people tagged as all our skills require aim, so whenever we kite or fight another wiz/caster, we are not combat tagged 70% of the time.
