I dont have bad lag, but I just found out that restarting your client often can reduce lag! Cool! (I usually remain logged in all day pretty much, see my bath time track sales for proof lol)

The thing I always think helps me is I zoom in on my Rei's Minimap so it has to load less, and I change my render viewing distance to minimal for the situation I am in.

Anyone have any other fast things like restarting your client to help with lag? I know a lot of us connect from far away.

My best tip is to think about if you really need rei's minimap.
When I decided to not use rei's I went from 20-30 fps, to 80-120 fps on average.
(I also uninstalled optifine witch made my fps better).
