Bug Class > L65?

I didn't read this in the patch notes, but I am currently L66 and climbing. I was given 8 allocation points to spend as well (I have not spent them as of yet). Was there a level increase, or is this a bug?

It is a bug. The same happened to a newbie once before, who reached lvl 21 as Lost Soul:

The bug has been around for a while already and it happened to me as well.

We would be informed about a lvl increase, also there would be new skills.

I think you are able to reach 99% of lvl 66, but that's it.

Currently a math bug, working on a fix but its existed for 3 + years.. just is more apparent somehow now... @mung3r / @Sleaker

This one sounds difficult. Do we have any clue on what steps are needed to recreate the bug @Kainzo ?

It Happened to me when there was a boost and I crafted with gold and the EXP Exceeded level 60 it Put me at like 61

Was it during a boost and you killed alot of mobs with AoE so instead you skipped a level?

You simply continue lvling up. Nothing is required except exp. Just keep killing monsters to surpass the 99% of either lvl 20 for Lost Soul or lvl 65 for the others classes. I can confirm that it happens with Lost Soul and Wizard.
The bug adds 1 additional lvl where it shouldn't, after the maximum level. Theoretically the maximum lvl for Lost Soul is 20 and for the other classes it's 65 at the moment. But this bug causes the maximum lvl to increase by 1. You also get the allocation points for it in addition.
You cannot exceed the 99% of lvl 21 / 66 though, it stops there.

I think massive exp over the cap at lvl 65 at 99%... could probably do it.
