Greetings,

Many of us seem to have different hours, play styles, etc. We also have many unique projects underway. We're constantly expanding and making changes. I thought it'd be great to have our own thread to track our progress, request assistance, bounce ideas off each other, etc.

Let's start with the did you knows. Did you know that we have our own community farm that supplies us with food, leather, etc. Only farmers should be culling animals since they can breed. Did you know that rent is due every Saturday? Failure to pay can get you booted. If cash is tight just ask another citizen to see if there are any jobs or services they need. Trying to level Blacksmithing? Did you know there is a chest to drop items needing repaired. Drop the item in it with some mats and a kind blacksmith can stop by to repair them.

We're an excellent town and we want to succeed. We want to do our best to have fun and look out for one another. Many of us PVP and some of us, mainly me, don't. This can make us squishy targets for jerks roaming the countryside for weak prey. If you need help fending off creepers our guys are the best. The server is constantly evolving so we're all learning as we go here. We have a lot of tips and tricks to share.

Did you know that our illustrious leaders want to know about your contributions to the town? Did you represent us positively to outsiders? Did you fill our coffers with food for the long winter? Did you craft tools for projects? Did you help dig a hole for 12 hours... Yes?! Then tell us about it. Did you drop stacks of pork chops off? Did you fill our chest with stone, mossy stone. wood, dirt, etc.? Track it and tell us about it. These things can earn you rewards and recognition. Once a week, before Saturday rent is due, list your contributions for everyone. I'm not saying describe our town's layout, security, etc. Keep it basic.

This week's contributions include: 1) Started the Thread 2) Dug a hole for 12 hours. Helped Emaa clear a new level. 3) Donated 4 stacks of Birch, 3 stacks Dark Oak, 4 stacks Oak, 2 stacks Lapis, 2 stacks Iron Ore, a stack of coal, 7 stacks of stone, 8 stacks stone brick, 5 stacks cracked stone, 6 stacks mossy stone brick, a stack and a half of uncooked chicken, filled a double chest of wheat,, melons, potatoes. 4) Sold 4 stacks of hay and donated funds to the town. 5) Got our steak and egg farm going. 6) Captured bunnies for breeding.

Why breed bunnies? The Monty Python Bunny gave me nightmares when I was a child. I breed them to kill them and then I make stew to consume them. Who needs therapy when you have Minecraft?

I'm good. I was just replying to the Y Tho. I just picked one item discussed and justified it. Why do I breed bunnies...well...issues. Why do we list our contributions here? Chat character limits. This will make it easier on our VIPs to reward us for accomplishments and contributions.

We've tried. Unless we can lock it down to just farmers there's 2-3 hours of work a week just re-summoning, breeding, and dying the sheep. It also takes resources to summon/dye sheep and chickens. You need wool and eggs each time. I'm done farming when I hit 50. I have my enchanter's catalyst ready. Awfully tired of folks saying we need wool and leather and then slaughtering our suppliers. They can buy it from this point on or farm it themselves.

I've been trying to get dyes and stuff for it all. I debated doing farmer or miner and ultimately went with miner... though I am regretting it. :/ On my old Minecraft server(different game-type not herocraft), I was the animal breeder and pretty much the dye/flower lady. I would take over the headache for you if you want. Not too sure how to switch just yet. Hasn't even been a week yet since I started playing this.

***Edit*** my bf is a casual player, but he picked farmer class so he will try to help with breeding and such as well.
