Chat Joining Issue

So for some reason no matter how many times I leave and join any channel I can't talk in it because "I haven't joined a channel"

Are you typing 'ch o' or '/o' then your message? If so, just use the /ch o command, then you may talk freely, or use the shortcut, /o while in another channel.
