Bug Chant for BM

Chant heals 350hp, with the 33% heal reduction it puts it down to 234.5. Aswell as that to use the skill it costs 100hp meaning it only heals 134.5, only 40 more than bandage heals if used as a self-heal. When you are on 9 1/2 hearts and use chant it heals you the 234.5 and then takes the 100 leaving you on 8 1/2 hearts rather than full.

So a BM loses 41.5hp (= 1/2 heart) leaving them on 790hp, they use chant healing 234.5hp then after the heal it reducts 100hp leaving the BM on 730hp. I think a fix would be to make it take the health cost then grant the heal.

It used to always heal 250 HP after the 100HP cost since the Bloodmage spews out HP for a living.

You could not be intended to use chant at 9 1/2 hearts as a BM, have you thought about that? BM is a sacrificial healer, I think that having their healing skill only make sense to use once people/self have taken a good chunk of damage makes for good class mechanics.

Also judgedread540 , for your idea of taking Health then granting Heal, would you really rather sacrifice functionality at the 0.5 heart end in favor of the 9.5? If it takes the 100 hp first, you just largely lost your ability to heal up from extreme low health.

I know this is in bug reports for some reason (I do not think server-wide self heal nerfs are unintentional), but maybe you should consider working with the class limitations, or reworking them with the community, on Suggestions. BM has weak heals because of it's play style, and I agree that the unique way that BMs heals are limited can require especially careful attention.
