Cannot log into Herocraft

first i use direct connect
then i put in "herocraft.zapto.org" for the server ip
and then it says "the server responded with an invalid server key"
please i need help

Yes. You have to have the same version as the server. You can find 1.8.1 .jars to downgrade here.
