Kainzo is pushing the new "mc.hc.to" address. When I try that one, there's no error, it just takes me directly back to the main menu screen.

herocraft.zapto.org and mc.herocraftonline.com sometimes gives me errors like "end of stream" before it connects, but sometimes I can log in as well.

Before last night, I was not even trying mc.hc.to usually, but Kainzo is pushing it so I've tried to switch. There were some supposed network issues last night, and that seems to be when I started having problems with the other two addresses.

I'm currently on minecraft 1.4.4 with the usual trio of mods installed

Well, I was just now able to connect to mc.hc.to... not sure if anything was changed to make that work better.
