Bug for buying a shop

I have bought a shop in the trade district, at about (649,122, 37), and I cant sell anything in the shop. I did buy the shop it says it is mine on the front but I am not able to sell any smith items. I am also level 60 so I thought I should be able to sell smith items. Is there any solution for this?

You need to use ChestShop to sell the items.

is there something going wrong with this?

I was trying to sell things that a Smith can sell. I even tried to sell Ores and it wouldn't let me. I just won't buy a shop again since it won't let me sell anything.

What do you mean won't let you sell them?

Are you using chest shops correctly?

You are being extremely vague... we need more specifics on the issue such as the information you are putting on the chestshop signs.

I did as the wiki said. I leave the first line black. the next line i put the number i want to be bought or sold. then i put B6 S.01 then i put a ? because the item was in the chest and i didn't know the ID#

it them bounces off and says "shop can not be used" or something like that

@Jonsoon has recommended this process for finding the item id because of problems that sometimes happen with the method you have been using.

(It's also in the wiki, but I'll make the layout clearer.)

Not a chest shop expert myself, but it appears there's a colon missing from the buy/sell line. Following the example from the wiki and using your data:

First Line:
Second Line: 1
Third Line: 6:0.01
Fourth Line: ?

If this still doesn't work, please provide the exact error text so the problem can be traced further.

Also, can you make chest shops elsewhere, ie not in the TD?
