Bug Broken Cleric Door/Shield

While i was in the spawn castle area, my door shield could not be placed and it gave me bonuses. When i went out into world, i tried right clicking to use a spell, but since the door was in my off hand, it placed the door, and the door no longer has the bonus properties. Is that intended or is it broken?

This unfortunately is how items are saved - we'll be fixing this soon.
