I was just wondering what people think is the best texture pack for our server. I'm currently using a custom Painterly Pack, but I kind of want to switch it up.

if you have a war machine as a computer, you can try the LB photo realism pack, it can be 256x256!

personally I suggest my own, but of course I would since I made them.lol You can find them by clicking on the picture link in my signature. I have a Zelda texpak and a Dungeon Crawler texpak, both are x16.

Myself and many other users i know use MixcraftHD. Its a 32x32 and looks tons better than texture packs claiming higher resolutions.

Defult is the best. Mainly because most people play in Defult, and a lot of our structures are made to look amazing in defult, not any other texture pack. So I say defult. Also... the 'Correct' idea for defult would be:

Fast Graphics
Smooth Lighting
No Fog

It is either that or the Barbie Doll Texture Packs! Those are awsome! ;)

It's default pack with a simple filter applied to it to make it less grainy. Looks much better than default but maintains the look of it.

bro paint (128x) or Xaiwalker (16x) both with cell shaded.
I switch texture packs almost daily but I always seem to go back to those.
I would say albion but it was recently discontinued.

Shutting the hell up.
Painterly Pack:

Not only do they have a wide variety of graphics to choose from, but they also update along with Minecraft updates.

After you create your texture pack and save it, simply move the file into AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\TexturePacks and select it in-game. Simple stuff.

Also, CROGS!

Here's another one to try out: Bordercraft.

More like walking around in a book's illustration, no?

I also recommend Bordercraft. I use it often. I also use RezFX For win and awesome.

I don't recommend using Xaiwalker for personal reasons. I've met the guy who made it. He's a real asshole who copy/pastes most of his shit from uncited sources.

EDIT: If you REALLY wanna know how much of an asshole this guy is in real life feel free to PM me.

EDIT2: Somebody shouldered the burden to contunue RezCraft as RezFX, so its not discontinued after all :D
