Banned, Not sure why

Your story:
My friends and I travel to and from heroes servers, stumbled upon here and wanted to try it out, I recognised it however it was a long time ago since I last joined.
When I clicked join it came up saying "Find another server" I'm actually very confused with this, If an admin can look into the ban, then that would be appreciated#
From what I've been informed, I was banned for insulting an admin, which I have apologised for.
Furtherly, I was just reading through the rules and under the enforcement area, it said:

"Enforcement

6 Warnings will be given for any infringement as follows.​

6.1 First warning: Player receives a warning.​

6.2 Second warning: Player receives a 3-day suspension.​

6.3 Third warning: Player receives a 1-week suspension.​

6.4 Fourth warning: Player receives a 1-month suspension.​

6.5 Fifth warning: Player receives a permanent ban."​

Was just confused on whether the enforcement here related to my issue.
If so, then why was I not entitled to the first 4 warnings? because my ban was permanent.
However if that enforcement doesn't relate to the issue then that's fair enough.
But still, I would be extremely greatful if you could except my apology, and I really would love to join back the server so I can play with my mates again, and not force them to search for a whole new one with me.

Worth a shot though, Either way, i'm going to leave this until you guys make your mind up.
Its kind of annoying me being in a Skype call with my mates while they keep talking about the server,
I fully understand that by calling an admin a fag I was going against the rules, however I feel as if a permanent ban was excessive[DOUBLEPOST=1370980195][/DOUBLEPOST]Wouldn't mind an answer
