I just joined the server, and I am using vanilla minecraft 9.4 got banned for 'client modding' I have no idea what this is and I am hoping to be unbanned soon.

Being ignorant to what you were doing is not how you get yourself unbanned.

You WON'T even have a chance to be unbanned if you continue to deny you actions, as of right now there is no way of you getting unbanned

Post a proper ban appeal when you're ready to take this seriously, maybe leave off the "?" too - it shouldn't really be a surprise or even any confusion involved.
