Bug Arena-ception

While I was in the middle of an arena match, I was teleported into a completely different arena match - except this time I had all my real stuff (chain helmet and leggings, iron chestpiece and boots, diamond shovel). Obviously that is extremely annoying. Is there any way I can get refunded the items I have lost?

This server does not reimburse items that you have may of lost due to a bug.

This might go along with the bug I have posted in the arena thread at the top of bug section here, well at least the teleported to different arena part.
