Well, a few friends of mine suggested I start watching Anime, and I had no where better to ask but here:

What show should I watch first?

The show my friends suggested was FullMetalAlchemist, any other suggestions?

If you want a funny, yet kinda crude humour one, go watch the sayuki series dubbed. Was one of the best animes I've ever watched.

If you want Funny, Gintama is the only way to go. (I only read manga though, and I read it, but didn't watch it)

You can also check out the Big Three, (Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach) Personally, I only like One Piece and Bleach, while Naruto is just too centered around SauceGay.

I'm in the process of reading Dragonball -- my friend has all the books and I got bored at camp so I asked to read the first one, but I wanted to watch a show, because Anime was suggested to me on the front page of Netflix. I'll look into your ideas @Ginzuishou and @Kingtom .

yeah my first anime series was full metal fantistic show if u ask me id reccomend it but only if u watched it from the start to the point it is now in the series

Yes, Bleach is good, Don't watch Naruto though. Trust me, Don't. It's a good concept, executed horribly. One Piece>Bleach>Alot of others>Naruto
