An idea, poll, and question?

I think it would be nice to have a map wipe once the server is updated to Minecraft 1.0. Right now it feels very messy and cluttered and almost every natural cave has been explored/mined out. It takes a lot of fun out of the game. Anyone agree that we should wipe soon?

Also, if the map isn't going to be wiped for 1.0, when will it be wiped?

The last several threads about a new map were locked and given the response, "Not for a while." I predict that is the fate of this thread.

If you think THIS world is bad, you should have been on Sanctum. There was a house nearly every 50 blocks in the wilderness, and the map was only 5000X5000 at the time (although there was the 1500x1500 Warshard map). Like every cave on the map was explored.
