I've noticed recently that alot of people have been denied and banned for lieing about there age. I think age should not be a factor at all. I mean come on.

I imagine the age limit was put in place so there is a certain level of maturity within the community. I believe it has worked because there are very few whining kids.

THere is no age limit. what i am saying is you shouldn't have to tell anybody your age.

You have to be 13 to play on the Herocraft server. Obviously determining if they're 13 requires asking their age, I don't see many ways to get around that.

Not really, it's kind of sad seeing some 12 year olds who seem to have better apps then some people who claim to be 20 being denied. I think your chances of getting in shouldn't be based on age but younger individuals should be graded harder on their whitelist.

Lying about your age points to a flaw in their character and from that point on, who knows what they are willing to lie about.

Second, as whitemage said, you need to be 13 to agree with the TOS. Plus, a lot of the talk on this server is adult oriented. Kids shouldn't really here a lot of this stuff haha.

It has nothing to do with maturity it is purely from a legal stand point. There is nothing we can actually do about changing the age. From a legal standpoint 13 is the age at which you should understand right from wrong. Thus anyone under that age cannot accept the ToS

It should 100% be apart of the selection process/reason for bans. If you have a bunch of immature 10 year olds running around building shoe boxes everywhere, it makes the server look bad. They also tend to be very vulgar/rude in public channels. That of course is never needed or wanted. I myself have seen people older than me on this server act in such ways and I don't think they should be allowed to do so, but that's just my opinion.

It's harsh, but like the others say, it's law. I know another game which also has the 13-and-up clause, but they hardly follow it and as a result their community is pretty bad. I only feel sorry for the mature 11-12 year olds who are out there and would be good members of herocraft, but unfortunately by law they just aren't old enough to be able to accept the ToS. I think. D:

The 20 year olds who are complete idiots ingame are usually not actually 20 lol.

Well if you put you're 14 on an app when you're really 12 but you don't like an immature brat then you most likely won't be banned. hehe >.>

Actually that isn't true. I have seen plenty of people get removed from the whitelist that have been rather polite and acted mature.
