Bug After skirmish, I am placed above ground

When I am underground (around a elevation of 10), and I return from a skirmish, sometimes (~10% of the time) I am placed in my same x/y coordinates, but I am placed above ground. This is kind of annoying, because if I am mining, I have to dig all the way back down. Has anyone else experienced this?

This is an issue with Minecraft, and happens if you try to teleport to a space that is only 2 blocks high.
