Suggestion About unlocking inactive person's LWC's

The other day, I requested for someone's wilderness LWC be removed. It was, and I went to collect the items a few days later. However, I come to it today, to gather the valuables, and find that every single item was looted from the chest by passing noobs.

Can LWC unlocking only be done when the pe-maker is aware that the staff is going to unlock it(meaning the player is online when it happens)? That really pissed me off because I lost A LOT of enchanted items. Possible rare items that could've been a huge help along with some ores and stronghold materials.

Perhaps if the chest isn't opened by said person in a week or two, it's lock 'rusts' and can be broken?

Now, for people who take extended breaks, they can request a Temp. Extended Lock, that will 'rust' 6 hours after the logging in for the first time after they request the lock. (so if they take a 6 month break, then relog, they have 6 hours to access the chest to add a week to the lock's timer)

Fair, yet people still need to watch their stuff.
