    Yeah, the whole point was to simply make it easier to get a hold of dyes. When we summon sheep, we get 1 - 3 randomly colored sheep. That's cool, but it would be nice to cull the colors we don't want when breeding a specific color and store the resulting extracted dye for when we -do- want that...

    Exactly. It'd have to have a long cooldown to prevent abuse. But still possible to get that precious one or two dye so you can start breeding that color or store the dye for when you go to do that color.
