So a day or two after getting it, I left it charging over night. The next day it had updated and I started it up and it did not connect to wifi. I restarted but the issue persisted.

After half an hour of troubleshooting which only told me I did not have an Ethernet cable plugged in, I called Microsoft support. After another twenty minutes of troubleshooting, we came up with that I was missing some driver needed to connect to wifi.

Since we couldn't download without wifi, we downloaded it to my brother's PC which I gave the person remote control of. After putting the files on a flash drive and plugging it into my PC, we discovered that it would not recognize any device as plugged in on any of the USB ports!

After finding out a second flash drive could not be recognized, we attempted to do a system restore. This wasn't available, and I had to do extra stuff to make it an option. Once I was able to attempt it, it turns out I had no system restore points. So my issue was elevated, and I was to be redirected to another person.
