I'm going to level-headed-ly explain what happened. Griefing structures is allowed, but griefing the enviro is not. Putting lava on the top of trees is a classic example of enviro grief. I've been banned for the exact same offense on another server, so I get. My advise is to just take the ban and come back in a couple days.

Thanks for your advice, but this was not a rule when I did it xD. They just wanted to make up rules to ban me.. I'm going to take the ban but I most likely wont play due to the fact that apparently I can get banned for anything

Believe me, this has been a rule for some time. I remember discussing retaining enviro grief as a rule after general grief was made legal months ago, and it has been in the rule book as one of only two griefing rules. No one had any bias against you at the time of the ban. You broke a rule so you were punished.

Even then 100% of the staff that were on at that time didn't even know of this rule nor did they try to warn me. And even now I will argue that what I did was NOT enviro grief. I placed one bucket of lava on one block. If anything I should have just been warned. The people cleaned up what I did in a few mins.. by placing one block xD.
