Since the nerf on Ninja's Sword Dmg, Ninja heavily relies on being able to sneak up behind your opponent and backstab them as you will do most of your damage from Backstab.

But how do you get behind them so easily when you use your smoke already. Plus smoke is a long cooldown.

That's why you practice. Ofcourse when you're all alone, its hard to get them off guard because theres really no distractions for them to get their guard down on. However in team fights, while your other team mates are about to engage on the enemy party; you can go around and sneak around and go surprise the squishes.

Ninja is really fun to play, but you need to know when to engage or else you'll just get beat to death in a matter of seconds cuz you're so squishy. Practice with the class though, get some advice from well known ninjas or people who are experienced with it.

To play ninja you just type the simple command /hero choose and then choose a class thats actually good
P.S. This is from a 60 ninja before patch and a mastered ninja after patch. ninja is just not a viable class anymore because sneaking is not a very fleshed out mechanic in mc. Go runeblade if you liked the ninja before the patch. I did and i'm really enjoying it.

Yeah, I recommend Runeblade, its really fun. It's really easy to play and somewhat hard to master because you're basically a rogue with spells, so you're squishy.
