So, how often is the map updated? I just want to know if there is like a specific period of time is gets updated like maybe every 2 weeks?

I think it's almost done every week/fortnight, as I remember seeing my town suddenly appear after a week or so on the Dynmap.
It's a hell of a huge file (15,000 x 30,000 res I think) so I think it may be a trouble to update frequently, but that's just my guess

every week or two - to make sure we're not lagging - I clone our map and send it to a test server... there it sits and waits for me to update it.

Is the dyna-map ever going to be like zeal's with the player locations?
