We're less than 4 months away from this year's Quakecon!
For those of you who are unaware of what QC entails, it is the largest LAN party in the Western Hemisphere. Second largest in the world. It is hosted by Bethesda and ID Games, who are based out of Dallas and famous for titles such as Quake ^.^, Doom, Wolfenstein, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, etc. It often described as the woodstock of gaming, 4 days of peace, love and rockets. Yes, everyone does in fact smell like hippies by the end. But it's really a great experience..
Kainzo and I will be there again at the BYOC at B35-1 and B35-2. If you live in the Dallas area, you should definitely hit up the convention - it is free. It will be held for the second year in a row at the Hilton Anatole off the Dallas North Tollway/I-35E.
