Suggestion Not allowing runestones to be placed

If you place a runestone and mine it again the runestone will become a worthless redstone block. Could runestones be limited in placement of runestones be restriced like ores? The runestone could be a item that is not placeable. Like a lapis lazuli would work.

Exactly what happened to me:
