Changes:
  • PVP-ON will now be on whenever you are in COMBAT. (Combat is triggered by a player hitting you or you hitting a player) - No more border hopping.
  • Deconstruct and Repair have had their casting time set to 0, increased cooldown to compensate. Cannot be used in combat.
  • Normalized Excavate duration gain per level for Miners and increased cooldown slightly to prevent chain casts.
  • Nether Spawn region adjusted to be less giant.
  • IronFist velocity portion has been increased in effectiveness.
  • HiddenSwitch now functions properly for Masons!
  • Alchemist skill revamp - every few levels Alchemist will gain extra recipe knowledge! (kept chain)
  • Smiths now have new skills! "Forge Chain"
  • Added nether wart exp for Farmers.
  • Resolved spawning issues in HELL and WARSHARD
  • Fixed some biome issues with Forage (Adding more biomes too!)
  • Fixed Disciple title not parsing correctly.
  • Alchemist chain recipe increased in cost.
  • HeroTown internal error resolved when viewing banks, Vault updated.

  • Redstone -> Netherrack should now function properly.
  • Runeword code cleanup, hopefully more fruitful! Increased duration, curses should last longer than normal debuffs.
  • Iceblade now triggers as a magical spell for Runeword, the slow portion has been fixed.
  • Iceblade correctly penetrates armor.
  • Added Kill Quests!

Cool, smith gets chain now. That always seemed to make more sense than alchemist.

For the spawning issues being resolved, does that mean I won't respawn in a bed in the main world when i die in the nether anymore? It really sucked for that event last night

Does this mean that if you are in combat and then run into a No PVP zone (spawn) that you can still be killed by the person your running away from and anyone else that decides to jump in on the action?

EDIT: read the text under the big red text. Missed it the first time :p

Patch notes are posted before the patches themselves are implemented, usually. It will be moved to an announcement somewhere when it actually is implemented.

We're not in patch 4.05. This is what will be implemented next update.
