Solaris is a Non-PVP trade town intended for production of wares to be used all over the server. Parsalin's Smithy is already selling produced items in the trade district. Solaris will be a group of regularly active members with the specific interest in building an impressive town and producing wares for sale. At some point a sister town may or may not be opened in the dangerous south with the express intention of conquest.

If you think you might fit into Solaris as a member then read over the basic info provided here and at the end Copy and paste your application, fill it out and post in this thread.

Basic Information:

• • Size as of 12/30/14 : Village
  • Trade Lines :
  • Selling: Refined Soul Gem, Soul Prism
  • Buying: Soul Harvest, Soul Source
  • Population Cap: 29
  • Taxes: 10/RLday (May increase, Can be earned by your profession)
  • Each member is provided with a personal place to live and safely store items.

Rules:

• • Don't cheat, any member found to be breaking server rules, hacking, or cheating will be removed and reported. When asked if you have cheated answer: "No, Never!" answering in this way is a test to see if your reading the rules.
  • Members will be required to be online a minimum of once a week. This is a loose rule and if your simply not active in town activities you will still be removed.
  • Members who grief the town will be removed, reported and should the admins see fit banned.
  • Theft will result in a minimum of 10 deaths, removal from town for repeat offenders. (Dirt your boxes in your house or use lwcs. and you wont be victimized.)
  • Building anything significant in town will likely be removed unless it is approved by Parsalin.

Plans for PVP:
As time goes on the PVE will eventually get a bit dry. So for you fighters who prefer pvp and can handle a bit of PVE, We will be building an outpost in PVP That will come once we have a sustainable army. I would say about 5 strong. at that point an outpost will be built. If this interests you and you think you would make a good commander. msg Parsalin in game.

• I personally don't mind pvp, and am pretty decent at it. Additionally, I think the custom classes offer a unique and interesting way to pvp. However, as SeaMarsh is a trade town, I'm perfectly fine with not pvping.

I normally prefer PvE because my ping isn't the best for PvP.

I am a bit of a builder, and can grind a lot of things for a long period of time, so I can get the town lot of resources.

I have joined back in 2012 and played for several months but stopped playing until I recently picked up again a few months ago. I have played at least an hour a day since the new map.

• How often will you will be online?

As I have stated above, I have played at least an hour a day and I do not intend for that to change. I expect to be online for at least 3-4 hours a day on average. There may be the odd day that I am not able to log in nor have access to a computer though.

I am a level 20 Dragoon and a level 45 Farmer.

• Why do you want to join Solaris?

Solaris, as a PVE trading town, sounds like it would fit my play style much more than that of other towns. I enjoy the PVE aspect of the game the most and I take no enjoyment in raiding others.

• Do you accept that SeaMarsh taxes its members?

Taxing players is fair, as town upkeep and expansion is not cheap.

• Explain your interest/opinion of pvp on this server.

While PVP may be a large part of the gameplay on the server, I believe is it optional. I much prefer the PVE elements of the server. The diplomacy between towns and clans is also quite intriguing.

• Do you have any other skills to offer?

I am a decent, albeit slower than some, builder and I am knowledgeable in my profession(I know the most efficient farms for every crop type) and most other things Minecraft.

• Do you have/Will you use voice chat?

Currently I only have Skype but I am able to install any other voice chatting program if need be.
