so smite just got buffed from 100 mana to 40 mana.
which is great, but by my calculations, it does about 1.5-2 hearts damage and has a 60 sec cooldown, which means it is very comparable to swinging your sword, and uses 40 mana. So in PvP, it isnt much help. Which is fine, healer specs dont need to be good at killing in PvP
what if smite did more damage just against mobs? it is holy damage, so it could hurt skeletons and the zombie undead a lot more than other players.
this would make smite actually useful, without making it OP in pvp. Otherwise, I predict most people will swing their stone swords and save mana for healing.
Disclaimer: I dont know if you coders can make a spell do different damage to players vs. mobs.
I also dont know if smite bypasses armor, if so, then it is powerful as is.
