Reason for ban: Messing around with tour chat, alt account
Your story: Honestly, I'm not really expecting an unban. I'm looking to play again as my friends are out of town and I'm looking for stuff to do during the summer. I totally understand that what I did is wrong, and I can honestly say that I apologize for my actions. They were immature, they were stupid, and I can say that if I am granted the privilege to play again, I won't abuse it. I can't say that I am a changed person, that my mistakes were lead on by stuff happening in my life, and that it wasn't my fault for that stuff happening, however I can say that it was a mistake. I understand that I'm probably not going to be unbanned, seeing as I don't think I'm very close to staff right now, however it's worth a shot.

First off, I'm going to tell you how I feel about it, because I was pretty ticked off at wasting a few hours trying to go through the list of people banned that day and removing the ones who did nothing wrong.

I wouldn't go as far as stating you were causing a Denial of Service, by definition. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack
However, it is listed under the group for IRC and our chat and chat channels could by definition be called a IRC like chat service. In any case; it is against the TOS and an abuse of power to do what you did.

Secondly, here are the terms of service.

• Herocraft Online reserves the right to deny or reject any username.
• If you have been previously banned from all Herocraft Online services, you will not attempt to circumvent this ban without a proper consent from Herocraft Online.

8. Prohibited Actions and Content

When using any Herocraft Online services you will not:

• Attempt to gather information from other users unless they are notified.
• Post any pornographic content, this includes links and or sites.
• Upload any malicious content or viruses.
• Bully, harass, or intimidate any user.
• Engage in illegal activities; Users will have to abide by the laws of the United States of America.
• Engage in discriminant content.
• Attempt to circumvent any banishment without the consent of Herocraft Online.
• Disrupt communications, see "Disruption of Communications".

9. Disruption of Communications

Disruptive communication is anything that inhibits the clean flow of communication between users on Herocraft Online.

Disruptive communication includes but is not limited to:

• Flooding: Posting an excessive number of threads or posts is disruptive to communication. Don't do it.
• Non-English Communication: Herocraft Online is an English language service. Communication, particularly content view-able by many users, will be conducted in the English language. This also includes internet ebonics (me-mes) and "l33t" speak, and will not be tolerated.
• Off-Topic Posting: Posting content in a section it doesn't belong in. Replying to content with unrelated information.
• Miscellaneous: Communication that disrupts the easy browsing of the site will not be tolerated. This includes exceedingly large pictures, large ASCII art, or links that go to a destination other than the one stated.

• If you share an IP address with another account, follow the instructions here to notify staff.

All players on Herocraft are allowed one account per person.

• Alt accounts are not allowed.
• Boxing is not allowed (A single person playing more the one account at the same time.)

With the announcement of the new map, I would like to bump this appeal. It's been over a month since my ban and I can say now more than ever that I regret my actions and am sorry for them. With the new release having been hyped for a while now, It's been painfully frustrating sitting on the sidelines not getting to experience the recent features. I can guarantee you that if I am unbanned, I will treat herocraft as if it is a privilege and not an expectation, as I have not done this in the past.

With the announcement of the new map, I would like to bump this appeal. It's been over a month since my ban and I can say now more than ever that I regret my actions and am sorry for them.
