The Multiverse includes Haven, Shrine, the Disposable Heroes Arena, and the Nether.

One of these regions, the Nether, is pissed off. They are thirsty, and tired of all the lava and boring red color-scheme of their homeland.

They invade the lands of HeroCraft, seeking to take our lands and our very lives!


For a Weekend:

key construct of this event -----> IF THE PLAYERBASE FAILS TO DEFEND THE SERVER, THIS EVENT CAN BE OVER SOON AFTER IT STARTS ON FRIDAY EVENING. IF THEY ARE SUCCESSFUL, IT CAN LAST UNTIL SUNDAY.

Basic Mob Spawn Changes:
  • 75% exp (LOWER THAN USUAL)
  • Normal Mobs Soul drops disabled
  • Normal Mobs, when killed spawn a Badass/Nether version of themselves (Skeleton -> WitherSkeleton, Slime ->MagmaCube, Zombie ->PIgZombie, Spider -> (1-2) Cave Spiders, Creeper -> ChargedCreeper, Enderman -> Blaze)
  • The Badass/Nether Mobs have their normal Soul loot tables, plus a small Soul loot table bonus to make up for their consuming the Normal Mob's Soul in order to enter our world.

Events During the Nether Invasion:
  • Friday: HeroGates are attacked, and must be defended. Whichever HeroGate needs defending costs 1Soul to travel to but cannot return you to Spawn (the Gate under attack can be DIRT BLOCKED to EASILY prevent people jumping back and forth to safety in Spawn), and the Gate will be surrounded by Mobs trying to enter through it. Because players will stay in no-pvp to defend the Gate and to not die to each other, the mobs will travel towards them at the HeroGate. If too many Mobs reach the Gate, then an Alert is sent out that the Gate has Fallen, The Dirt Blocking is Removed, and within a minute everyone who still remains is killed by Zo Skills.
  • Saturday: If the Playerbase has defended successfully on Friday, more Gates or Locations are attacked. Consider letting people ride to Defend one of the DragonTravels for a cheap Soul price, it would let them get a taste of how cool the perk is. A DragonTravel under attack would be in PvP, and would add a new dynamic to the 2nd day event if the Friday event was successfully defended.
  • Saturday/Sunday: If on Friday/Saturday Two consecutive layers of Herogates fall, or if a total of 3 HeroGates fall, then the next day there is an Event in Spawn. Depending on how the playerbase defends Spawn, as well as how long the playerbase successfully defended HeroGates, the Staff can declare the Server to have defended the server or to have failed, and they can reward or chastise the end of the event as they see fit!

I believe this idea can be quickly explained in an Announcement post, and would not be as wordy as this thread.
