How long have you been on Herocraft?: I will have been on Herocraft for exactly two years on April 17th.
Why do you think you will make a good mod?: There are many reasons that I believe I would make a good mod. Firstly, I am a very experienced player on this server. I have fulfilled many important positions such as a town mayor, proctor, guide and herald. Each position is important to the server in some way or another. As a herald I help bring new blood into the server and suck in great players to add to our player base. Currently I am working on a massive projects as a Herald (Herocraft – Meet the Rogue). As a Proctor I whitelist all the new players whom we deem appropriate to access the whitelisted portion of the server. As a Guide I help all those new players get up on their feet and help them take the first few steps on the long road that is Herocraft. I answer all their questions, teach them the basics of the server and make sure they feel comfortable. Lastly, as a Mayor I take the players who know the basics and are ready to really experience the server, and give them a place to stay as well as aiding them on their journey through Herocraft.
On the server I view myself as a mature, friendly and respectful player. I never burst out in anger, put others down or do anything which may ruin the experience of other players. My first reaction to a problem is neither anger nor frustration; instead I look at the problem from all sides and perspectives to make the appropriate solution. When it comes to enforcing rules and making important decision I am blind to other players guilds, towns or other alignments, as they have no place when it comes to the rules. I have read the rules countless times and know them by heart, and I won’t have any hesitation enforcing them. I understand that this is an extremely important role in the community and it requires a lot or hard work and dedication. I love working with our entire player base (especially the new players) and would be privileged to help out with more essential jobs such as petitions, bans or other problems that arise.
Additional info you would like to tell us?: I would like to use this space to briefly go over my time on Herocraft, and my experience on the server so far. I started off on this server like everyone else, I was newly whitelisted and everything was new to me. I saw countless names in the chats, players selling items, people discussing town and raids, as well as many other intriguing conversations. I found everything extremely overwhelming and had a very hard time adjusting. I ended up taking a short break and found myself returning to the server a few months later. Although everything was difficult to grasp at first, many other helpful players helped me get on my feet and learn the basics (this is one of the key events that influenced me to apply for Guide a ways down the road). I found myself joining a town with my friends, and I slowly expanded my social circle. It started off with just my town, but I slowly got to befriend my allies and others in my Kingdom. I worked hard and a few months later I found myself at the head of my own town! I met even more great people and got even more into the server. After being on the server for over a year, I found myself wanting to give back and applied for my first staff position, banker. Unfortunately, I never made it onto the team, but I didn't give up on my quest to give back to the server. Shortly after I applied for yet another staff position, proctor, and found myself a part of the team. After a few short months, I applied for guide, my second position, and then finally I applied for Herald. Now, just over a month later I find myself applying for the moderator position.
