The dynamic map on the web site is a disaster, here is why:

People will realize that it gives location therefore, I (and other people) keep getting killed because of these people and my base is revealed.

I know i have posted something like this before, but that time I did not know how bad it was and was not killed often because of it. Guys please support this and fix it. Thanks.

I don't believe it's a disaster. I believe it's tasteful and if you dont want to be seen by the ALL SEEING EYE - don't go out in skylight.
We have always had an easily accessible map file - so no matter when you've played Herocraft - your 'base' has been viewable.

They see me enter my base that is why.

So you drop off the map when you're not above ground/exposed to the sky?

I don't believe you were here for the last iteration of the Nether in Herocraft, but you could take inspiration from what I and many others did there- make a couple of nice little labyrinthine tunnels that lead into your base, which is actually positioned some distance away from the point you drop off the map, camouflaging the correct path with a layer or two of non-suspicious blocks at various points. It's a bit tougher in the overworld but probably still viable.

That map does appear to devalue the Ranger's Track skill, but as people adjust their patterns to it's existence I bet it'll gradually become useful again, locating people hidden from sight.

I actually like it because it makes you more careful of where you walk because someone is probably watching you.
